FRANCISCO J. VÁLDES is a Partner at the Firm and leads the Energy, Administrative Law, and Public Procurement Practices. He provides counseling in several areas related to hydrocarbons and power industries. He has represented national and foreign clients in all types of regulatory affairs and in the development of infrastructure projects.

Among Francisco’s clients are prestigious companies and governmental agencies (e.g., PEMEX, Gas Industrial de Monterrey, Consejo Coordinador Empresarial, Ternium, Techgen, Kaltex, BayWa Re, New Fortress Energy, Ministry of Communications and Transportation, Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), and Grupo Empresarial México). He served as Executive Secretary of the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) and was Head of the Legal Unit of the National Worker´s Housing Fund (INFONAVIT) in the State of Mexico.
