Villagómez

Adrián Villagómez joined the firm in 2018 and has been a partner since 2023. He has more than 11 years of professional experience, representing clients in civil, commercial, administrative, and constitutional litigation (amparo lawsuit). Also, he has extensive experience in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. His practice has mainly focused on the industries of energy, construction and infrastructure, pharmaceutical, technology, and transportation.

Adrian has also specialized in the representation of Mexican and foreign companies in public procurement procedures, regarding works as well as services. Also, he has extensive experience in construction and infrastructure projects, both public and private, and in the representation of companies in controversy procedures before federal and local authorities related to public procurement procedures and public contracts.

• He has advised and represented several domestic and international companies of the construction, energy, real estate, services, investment, and railway industries, in national and international commercial arbitration proceedings.

• He has advised and represented several national and international companies in administrative proceedings to challenge administrative regulations and administrative penalties, as well as to challenge administrative resolutions related to procurement procedures and public contracts, mainly in the construction and infrastructure, energy, technology, and pharmaceutical industries.
• He has advised and represented several national and international construction companies, including managers, contractors, designers, suppliers, and supervisors, during the contractual management, and during dispute resolution of important projects developed in Mexico.
• He has advised and represented several companies in the construction and infrastructure, energy, transportation, information technology, and pharmaceutical sectors, during public procurement procedures, to verify compliance of the requirements, in order to obtain the award of the contracts.

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (2011).
• Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (2013). Specialization in International Law from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (2013).
• Diploma in "International Commercial Arbitration" from the International Chamber of Commerce and Escuela Libre de Derecho (2016).
