Adela Tamez Céspedes has been an Associate at the Firm since 2006. She is part of the Intellectual Property (IP) and Immigration Law Practices.

She has significant experience in IP, particularly in matters related to the registration of trademarks, patents, and appellations of origin, including planning and protection of IP portfolios. In addition, she handles all types of matters related to copyrights. She represents our clients in lawsuits related to IP filed before several administrative authorities. In connection with Migratory Law, she handles proceedings to obtain employer certificates for Mexican companies that employ foreigners and migratory documents for foreigners (e.g., visitor visas, temporary resident visas, permanent resident visas, and naturalization letters).

She obtained her Law Degree (J.D.) from Universidad Iberoamericana, in Mexico City in 2008. She obtained a Diploma, “The New Intellectual Property in the Digital World in Instituto de la Propiedad Intelectual y Derecho de la Competencia” (IPIDEC), in Mexico City in 2021. Additionally, she is currently taking a course on “Administrative Litigation in Intellectual Property.”

She is a Member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI) and its Trademark Committee.
